NSW and Queensland will fight it out for top spot in Pool B and a place in the Australian Hockey League final on Friday.
The NSW Arrows and the Queensland Scorchers will battle it out for top spot in Pool B and a place in the Australian Hockey League final on Friday.
NSW fought back from one goal down to defeat Canberra 2-1 with goals to Emma Cobbin and Hollie Webster.
Queensland went into their clash with Tasmania as favourites but fell behind early after a goal by Emily Wilson.
But the Scorchers were too strong in the end with two goals to Madonna Blyth and one to Sofie McLeod with the Queenslanders winning 3-2.
Meanwhile, Western Australia’s 1-0 victory over the Victoria Vipers on Wednesday has left Pool A wide open.
Victoria, WA and South Australia all capable of finishing on top of the group.
South Australia, who lead the group on seven points, will qualify for the finals with a win over second-placed Victoria.
The Victoria Vipers will need to defeat the Suns and then rely on goal difference to get through.
Defending AHL champions Western Australia will need to beat the winless NT Pearls and hope the Vipers can defeat the Suns and then rely on goal difference.
