Hi everyone,

I am speaking to you on my way to training at St Joseph’s College in Hunters Hill, Sydney, where we train three nights a week. The courts are free, so that is a bonus.

I have been flat out, as usual. After our camp in Perth I was selected for the Gliders for the tournament in Germany beginning on 24 August. Go me! We play two friendlies against Germany, then a three day camp, then the Four Nations in Hamburg. This tournament is between Australia, Great Britain, Germany and France.

Before then, however, I travel up to Brisbane to play for the Bears in the Womens’ League. Currently we are coming 3rd out of five, so not bad. We have four games up there, then back to Sydney for a brief rest (yes I manage to fit in a bit of sleep, though not much!). Oh and I was in Perth last weekend playing for Sydney Uni in the Mens’ League, unfortunately we lost both games, better luck next time.

Looking forward to Germany!

Congratulations Gliders for making the final of the Four Nation Tournament in Germany. And good on you Kylie for your 11 points against Great Britain – what a top effort. Go Gliders against Germany!!

Well done Gliders. Even though Germany won on its home ground, great to win silver ahead of Great Britain and France. And good on you, Kylie – another four points. Keep it up on your way to London.
